Bracelet of Hope is a grassroots organization that engages Canadians in it's fight against HIV/AIDS i Tsepong was the first HIV/AIDS clinic in Lesotho, Africa.

In September of 2008, the Bracelet of Hope Campaign reached it’s first target. In partnership with OHAfrica, a project of the Ontario Hospital Association, Bracelet of Hope raised $ 1 million in support of the Tsepong Clinic. Established in 2004 by the outstanding OHAfrica team, this clinic was administrated and funded by OHAfrica until the spring of 2010. Dr. Anne-Marie Zajdlik was a member of the OHAfrica medical team and the OHAfrica Board of Directors. Now administrated by the government of Lesotho, the Tsepong clinic continues to provide high quality medical care to the 21,000 HIV positive patients it supports. With OHAfrica’s mandate complete, Bracelet of Hope will continue in it’s efforts to reach it’s second target: One African Country- AIDS free. By placing a bracelet on the wrist of every Canadian, Bracelet of Hope will strive to end the AIDS pandemic in Lesotho by raising funds and awareness with the campaign’s signature symbol, the Bracelet of Hope. We are committed to assisting the Basotho people in ending the AIDS pandemic in their country.

In rural Lesotho, medical care only exists if it arrives on four wheels.

Every year, our two mobile health units bring life-saving clinical care, vaccines, and maternal support to 23,000 people who have nowhere else to turn. When our clinics pull into an isolated village, despair turns to relief.

But keeping that lifeline moving has become dangerously hard. Since 2020, petrol prices in Lesotho have nearly tripled (+198%). Every single kilometer on the road now costs three times what it used to.

Many of the mothers who visit our Mobile Health Units walk long distances just to reach us. Yet, when they arrive, the overwhelming feeling isn’t exhaustion—it’s relief, hope, and pure gratitude.

Seeing this beautiful smile reminds us exactly why we take our clinic on the road. Health care shouldn’t depend on how far you can walk.

TOGETHER, WE RAISED $13,000 FOR LESOTHO! ❤️

We are completely blown away by the incredible success of our Women to Women pop-up boutique this past weekend!

Every single dollar raised goes directly to providing stable, loving care for our 36 foster children in Lesotho and our two mobile health units. 🇱🇸❤️
