Despite some challenging and unfavourable weather throughout the weekend, the Corbett Classic was a tremendous success! A huge thank you goes out to all the players, coaches, families, volunteers, umpires, and sponsors who helped make the tournament such a memorable event. The dedication, sportsmanship, and love of the game were on full display across all four divisions. Congratulations to all of our division champions and finalists for an incredible weekend of baseball — and thank you to everyone who battled through the rain and cool temperatures to keep the tournament running strong! ⚾🌧️🏆

We’re heading into the championship rounds of our 35-team, 4-division Rookie Ball Tournament!

A huge thank you to our U12 Cooperstown team for all of their hard work and dedication in getting the diamonds playable today while surrounding centres were forced to cancel. Your effort made this day possible.

Seeing the smiles on the players’ faces makes it all worthwhile. Let’s go!!!

Several local associations within the ICBA have now implemented this program to address the critical shortage of officials in our region. We aren't just seeing a need for more umpires; we are fighting to keep the ones we have. When you see the green band on the diamond, remember that your support is the key to ensuring these young officials return for next season.

Our umpires are often current or former players just starting their officiating journey. When you scream about a "missed" strike in the 3rd inning, you aren't helping the team—you're bullying a minor.

Per Baseball Ontario Safe Sport guidelines, verbal maltreatment of officials is a direct violation of our code of conduct. 📋

Treat them like your own kid—because they are someone’s kid. ❤️
