A difficult announcement from the Alberta Pond Hockey Association

We are sad to announce that there will be no Alberta Pond Hockey Championships in 2027. This decision comes down to one thing: we need more volunteers to help fill board positions and keep this event going.

We would love to bring the Championships back in 2028, but we need a few hockey-loving people willing to lend a hand and help make it happen.

If you have some time to volunteer and would like to see Alberta Pond Hockey Championships return in 2028, please reach out to us at [email protected].

Until then, we hope everyone has a great winter. Get out on the ice, play lots of hockey, and cheer on your favourite teams!

Thanks to everyone who has supported the Alberta Pond Hockey Championships over the years.
