Grimsby Polar Bear Dip Welcome to the official Grimsby Polar Bear Dip. All are welcome Jan 1, 2026 - 2pm @ Bal Harbour Park!

The Grimsby Polar Bear Dip has been an annual event since its first year in 2008. On January 1, we meet down at the Grimsby Bal Harbour beach to brave the icy waters of Lake Ontario and support a good cause. All registration proceeds and money raised goes to the local McNally Hospice. Over the years, we have raised $25,000 for McNally House, and we don't intend to stop there! Whether you are ready

to channel your inner polar bear and take the dip or whether you just want to come and watch, the Grimsby Polar Bear Dip is a chance for our community to come together and start the New Year off with a bang!

A big thank you to everyone who came out this year! It sure was colder but you braved it anyways!

We are still receiving some donations so we don’t have the final total for you yet but we are so proud of everyone coming together to support McNally! So far we’re just over $3,900!!

Thank you to everyone who came out and participated in the 16th Polar Bear Dip in Grimsby!

We had over 205 registered swimmers and hundreds of spectators come out to show their support and hold those towels!

We raised $5250 for McNally House Hospice!
