Some TROtt volunteers joined Al Graham - super philanthropist behind Fries for Charity - to prep the potatoes before Doors Open Ottawa! We are welcoming this fabulous chip truck on site tomorrow, Saturday, June 6, for the first day of the weekend event where we open our doors to anyone who wants to come and visit.

Please note all the sponsors who provide everything from the potatoes and oil to the paper boxes. They are all local businesses! Please show your appreciation to these donors whenever you can.

And please come on out to TROtt to enjoy these fries (100% of the proceeds go to TROtt!), tour our facilities, meet our horses, talk to volunteers, and see our programs in action. We are open on Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 4pm, rain or shine!

P.s. Speaking of rain, please NO UMBRELLAS on site! Horses do not like umbrellas!
But they also aren't bothered by a bit of rain, so why should you be? Come on out!

It's Door Open Ottawa this weekend, and here at TROtt we are preparing to welcome you with our biggest smiles! 😁

On Saturday & Sunday, June 6 & 7, we will open our doors from 10am to 4pm. Come visit our beautiful facilities, meet many of our dedicated volunteers, say Hi to our herd of horses, and see our programs in action! Bring your family and friends! 👫

As a special treat, on Saturday we are welcoming Charity Fries onsite so bring your appetite, as well! 🍟

Look who's representin' TROtt today!

This weekend Wesley Clover Parks hosts Canada's largest dressage festival! And our volunteers will be there every day! They are there to help out at the festival but also to get the word out about the terrific place know as the Therapeutic Riding Association of Ottawa-Carleton!

If you're out there this weekend, be sure to stop by and say Hi to the friendliest people in town. Learn more about our programs and the horses and people that make us move with purpose and passion every day!

Our mighty Minis, Amy & Peppa, are our TROtt horses for the month of May!

If you've spent any time around TROtt, you know we have an amazing herd of horses who leave an unforgettable impression on the participants of our riding and ground-based programs. Did you know that you can help support their care? With our Adopt-A-Horse and Sponsor-A-Horse options, you can either cover the cost of caring for a horse for an entire year, or donate to cover part of the cost of caring for a horse!

It's an opportunity to help us continue the work we do that has had a profound impact on so many people in our area! And an opportunity to be an integral part of the care our horses deserve for all they do for us!

The days are getting warmer, the flowers are blooming, the green is returning all around us - It must be Springtime!

Here at TROtt, we are celebrating the arrival of Spring and all the promise it brings!

We are excited that the arrival of Spring also means our participation in Doors Open Ottawa is just around the corner.

On Saturday and Sunday, June 6 & 7, our doors will be open to anyone who wants to come and visit us, to see our facilities, to meet our fabulous volunteers, to experience our programs, to be introduced to our exceptional herd of horses! On that Saturday and Sunday we will be open to the public from 10am-4pm. It is a wonderful opportunity to visit for the first time, or to invite family and friends to find out what you've known all along, that TROtt is an incredible place!

We are located at 6362 Bank St. in Greely! Please mark your calendars for that weekend - We can't wait to see you here! You may just leave here with a renewed Spring in your step!
