Citizens Climate Lobby Canada We create political will for a stable climate by getting money away from fossil fuels.

Our Policies:
-To put a fee on carbon pollution and give 100% of the money collected back to the people, and end subsidies to the fossil fuel industry. Our Niche:
- We are part of a global network in over 60 countries that provides ongoing support and education for our volunteer group leaders and their members so that they can effectively lobby politicians, and advance our policy via traditional and social media.

Citizens' Climate Lobby Canada stands united with our global colleagues around the world to end fossil fuels and demand a just transition—because our world is at a breaking point. Climate chaos, rising inequality, and war are deepening, but collective action can still secure a liveable future.
Governments at UNGA 81—a critical moment to uphold climate justice, dismantle fossil fuel power, and deliver reparations to those most impacted.

Our Core Demands:
✅ No new fossil fuels—stop all expansion, financing, and false solutions.
✅ Phase out existing fossil fuels—fast, fair, and aligned with 1.5°C.
✅ 100% renewable energy for all—publicly owned, community-led, and respecting Indigenous rights.
✅ Climate finance for the Global South—trillions in grants, not debts. Tax the rich, end subsidies, and cancel fossil debts.
✅ Hold polluters accountable—enforce the ICJ Advisory Opinion, make corporations pay for loss and damage, and ban fossil lobbyists from climate talks.
✅ End war and genocide—stop fossil-fueled conflicts and militarization.
✅ Just transition now—decent work, food sovereignty, and ecological limits on mining.
✅ Bind it in law—negotiate a Fossil Fuel Treaty to phase out oil, gas, and coal for good.
System change, not climate change.
