Ward 1 CAN is a Community Action Network made up of volunteers who reside within the boundaries of Ward 1 in the community of Greater Sudbury. This dedicated group of volunteers is committed to enhancing the natural beauty of the ward, identifying challenges & concerns of citizens regarding the ward and a

cting as a liaison to the City of Greater Sudbury on behalf of the citizens. This is a grassroots organization of individuals interested in working towards building a healthy community that embraces four key strategic priorities; active living, healthy environment, civic engagement & economic growth. As part of the long term goals the CAN wishes to work with local businesses and enhance the area.

Alrighty people the night before our big event! We have some amazing news to finish off the week! We are proud to announce that Sudbury's Pure Country Tailgate Team will be on-site during our event.
We are super excited at see everyone tmrw! Again we are looking for volunteers to help set up and run booths during the event (lunch will be provided).

Good Evening Everyone,

We have another sneak peak to show everyone before our Fall Fair.

GAMES, GAMES, AND MORE GAMES!!

This year we have lots of mini home made carnival games to offer for everyone (some include prizes, there will be pumpkins to win aswell) and here's the best part no cash required!

We will also have a photo booth available with pumpkins, hay bails and backdrop to give it the perfect touch

Good Evening everyone,

Here we are again with another sneak peak into the fun activities we have planned for the whole family.
We have Inflatables! Not just any inflatables, we've got inflatables from AmazeNFun! These inflatables will be fully staffed by AmazeNFun to make sure everyone is safe while having fun. Take a look on their website or be surprised on the day of our event
Here are some of the attractions we have gathered :
1. Giant Soccer Dart Board Inflatable
2. Themed (Halloween themed) Combo inflatable
3. Inflatable Axe throwing
And the best for last
4. 57 ft long Castle Seige inflatable.

Hold on did I forget to mention we also have brought in a food truck to satisfy your food amd beverage needs. The food truck has everything that you will need to enjoy your day at our Fall Fair.

This was supposed to be posted yesterday, but better late then never. Here is another sneak peak at what we are going to have at our Ward 1 Fall Fair!
Vendors!!!
At this moment we have three vendors that are coming out to provide information for you guys about their business.
1. Small Things CATS
2. Sudbury Rabbit Rescue
3. We have Delki Dozzi Food Forest tours going on at 11am and 1pm for anyone who wants to see what they do at our lovely park.
4. And returning this year we will have Talon and Bark Falconry back again to show everyone their birds of prey and also will have times for handling of the birds aswell

Good Evening Everyone,

We are less then a week away till our big event this Saturday at Delki Dozzi on Mary St. I would like to take the time to let you guys in on what we have in store for your whole family at our 2nd Annual Ward 1 Fall Fun Fair!.

Tonight we present to you our Big truck show! We will have trucks from our sponsor Waste Management, they will also have a swag table and also have a banner that everyone can sign and/or draw on aswell that will be on display afterwards at our Sudbury Waste Management location. We will also have a mixer truck from Fisher Wavy Inc. , our local fire department will be on-site as well and finally we will have a Bus that everyone can paint provided by Leuschen Transportation.

Come be a part of the Ward 1 CAN Fall Fair! We're looking for volunteers to help make this year's event a huge success.

⏰️ ​When: Saturday, October 4th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
📅 Where: Delki Dozzi Park

​Volunteers will help with setting up, running a booth, and tidying up after the event. It's a great chance to meet new people and support our community, and get some volunteer hours!

Get ready for a day of FREE family fun at Delki Dozzi! We'll have a variety of activities for all ages, including inflatables, a big truck show, games, and more. It's the perfect way to connect with your neighbours and celebrate the season!
