Rainbow Routes Association The RRA advances and promotes trails, active transportation, and programming in Greater Sudbury. We are the local rep for the Trans Canada Trail.

Take part in our November Hike Club and walk with us to the sunset on the Copper Cliff Trail, Saturday November 7th from 4-6pm.

A huge thank you to everyone who braved the rain and joined us for our Annual Thanksgiving Hike!

We were fortunate to enjoy a break in the weather during the hike, allowing us to take in the beautiful views of the Oak Forest along the trail.

A special thank you to our hike leaders, volunteers, and John Lindsay from the Minnow Lake Restoration Group for joining us.

Join us on November 9, 2026 for our Annual Members Meeting and an inspiring evening with special guest Waubgeshig Rice

The first portion will be our business meeting at 6:00 p.m. which is open to the public. Ensure your membership is up to date to have voting rights.

At 7:00p.m, Waubgeshig Rice takes the stage. This is a ticketed event so be sure to purchase yours early at www.rainbowroutes.com

All proceeds from the evening will be invested directly into upcoming trail projects and the ongoing stewardship of our trails.

Thank you to Katie Fenerty who joined us on the trail this past Saturday for our Art Workshop at Langdon Park. It was the perfect fall day and we were so glad that many community members and Girl Guides of Canada who also participated. We loved that the program included wayfinding information. This program was supported by Trans Canada Trail who help us engage youth and all trail users with education programs at our hikes and events.

What a great night we had at the New Sudbury Historical Trail on Tuesday. The night was perfect, and the weather couldn't have been better. Thanks to our hike leaders for sharing so much about the stars, and taking us on this great nighttime walk. Thank you to our amazing volunteers and thank you to everyone that came out and stayed up past their bedtime to join us on the trails.
