Our individualized approach ensures that each participant’s program is tailored to their specific needs, passions, and goals, helping them build essential life skills, secure employment opportunities, and achieve personal growth. Marie, and other areas across Northern Ontario and also expanding into Southern Locations, we offer comprehensive support to individuals still in school as well as those transitioning into adulthood. Our dedicated team of highly qualified professionals is passionate about creating a supportive community where individuals can enhance their independence and thrive socially, emotionally, and vocationally.

Our friends in Sault Ste Marie celebrated their first AYEC Family BBQ, and despite the weather, they had an amazing time!

🌭🍔🥗🍉 There was a delicious variety of food to enjoy, from hamburgers and hotdogs, Philippino Chicken to fresh salads, veggie and fruit trays — it truly was a feast!

A heartfelt thank you to the parents who attended, brought food, and to everyone who donated toward the BBQ. Your kindness, generosity, and support are so thoughtful and greatly appreciated.

A special shoutout goes to Joshua Shelbourne, who celebrates his birthday on Saturday and Kiara’s mom on Friday! 🎉🎂 Everyone was so happy he could spend the day surrounded by his friends and their families, making wonderful memories together.

Days like these remind us that AYEC is more than a program — we are a family. ❤️ Thank you to everyone who helped make their first Family BBQ such a fun and memorable success!

Are you transitioning from secondary school and looking for the next step toward independence, confidence, and community involvement?

It’s not too late to join our Summer Transition Program beginning June 22 at the Adult Enrichment Center!

✅ 3 Days Per Week
✅ 4–6 Hours Per Day
✅ Life Skills Development
✅ Community Participation
✅ Recreation & Wellness Activities
✅ Clinical Supports Available
✅ No Wait List
✅ Subsidy Available
✅ Starting at $25 per day for individuals requiring minimal support.
Specialized services are available, with fees based on individual needs and support requirements.

*Funding options may be available for eligible participants.
Participants have access to a multidisciplinary team including:

• Registered Nurse Psychotherapist
• Registered Nurse
• Registered Music Psychotherapist
