The BLRA will be hosting our AGM at the Big Cedar Estates Club House located at 1844 Line 13 N, Hawkestone, ON L0L 1T0. The meeting will be held on Saturday June 27th from 10AM - noon. The list of guests includes:

Mayor Randy Greenlaw and Ward 2 Councillor

John Bard from The Township of Oro-Medonte

Bass Lake Cluster Park Superintendent - Scott Thomas

The Severn Sound Environmental Association

The Couchiching Conservancy Charitable Land Trust

They each will provide updates related to their organizations and answer some questions from the floor. We are thankful to them all for their time.

The Township of Oro-Medonte Council will be holding a Public Meeting on Thursday, June 11, 2026 at 3:00 p.m., in the Council Chambers, located at 148 Line 7 South, Oro-Medonte, with the option to attend in person or virtually, regarding a proposed Zoning By-law amendment to the Township’s Comprehensive Zoning By-law No. 97-95. The amendment proposes to permit Short-Term Rental Accommodation (STRA) as a secondary use on ten (10) properties in the Township.

Please note that three of the proposed properties are on Bass Lake. Residents are encouraged to attend virtually to allow for directly affected residents to participate in person.
