💙 This is Why We Do What We Do! 💙

We recently received such a lovely message from Brenda that we just had to share:

“Just to say thank you to everyone at Ryde Community Co-op. This is my first year there and so much fun and learning how to do so many different things. Plus my friend Kim who is always there helping me when and ever I need it. So blessed.” ❤️

We are so thankful to have Brenda and Kim as part of our Ryde Co-op community. They’re familiar faces at many of our workshops and events, always ready to learn something new and enjoy some time together!

Messages like Brenda’s are exactly why the Ryde Co-op Board and our volunteers work so hard to bring such a wide variety of programs and events to our community. Knowing that people are making memories, learning new things and enjoying friendships along the way makes it all worthwhile. 🥰

Here’s Brenda and Kim enjoying a recent workshop together! 📸

Thank you, Brenda, for taking the time to send us such kind words — and thank you both for being such a wonderful part of our Ryde community! 💙

📣 A Friendly Reminder About Program Registration & Cancellations

As mentioned at our Annual Members Meeting, the Ryde Community Co-op is currently experiencing a 12.7% cancellation/no-show rate for our programs.

We completely understand that emergencies and unexpected situations happen! However, we ask everyone to please be mindful when registering for a program. Last-minute cancellations and no-shows can prevent someone else from attending, and if the spot isn’t filled, the Co-op still pays the instructor for a full class.

💻 Registration is currently OPEN for all of our events!

If a class you’re interested in is full, please join the waitlist! When someone cancels, our system automatically offers that spot to someone on the waitlist — but it can only do that if people have joined.

The waitlists also help us see which programs are most popular so we can work on offering them again in the future.

Our programs are made possible through the time and effort of our wonderful volunteers, instructors and community members. ❤️ A little consideration goes a long way in helping us keep these programs running successfully.

Thank you for helping us work toward lowering that 12.7% cancellation rate!
