We’re so happy to welcome Brittany Corcoran back to GAP as part of our Wellness Program. 💚
Brittany, a Community Outreach Addictions Counsellor with Community Mental Health (CMHA), will once again be available at GAP on Tuesdays from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m. to connect with neighbours in a welcoming and supportive environment.
For Brittany, wellness is about building community, creating connections, and simply being a friendly face people can approach. She hopes to continue being that caring presence for anyone who needs support, conversation, or connection.
When Marie Little, GAP’s Food Lead, learned Brittany was returning, she shared how much of an impact Brittany has had on neighbours in the past. “Just having that smiling, friendly face there means a lot,” she said.
Brittany says she is proud to live and work in Gravenhurst and spoke about the important role GAP plays in the community, calling it “a staple — a place where people can belong and feel connected to one another.” She believes there is something truly special about GAP, rooted in the deep compassion and care shown to neighbours every day.
She also emphasized that at GAP, there is no need for a “cheat code” to access kindness, compassion, and support — everyone is welcome.
We are grateful to have Brittany back at GAP and look forward to the connections and care she will continue to bring to our community. 🌟
