Pop-Up Market at Granite Ridge Retirement Community on Bethune Drive. Saturday May 30th, 1:30 - 3:00pm.
The long awaited Rhubarb Delight Jam has returned for the season. Buy a 250ml bottle of jam and we will give a 125ml bottle to a senior. Last year we gave away 103 bottles of jam/jelly/marmalade. THIS YEAR WE ARE AIMING TO GIVE AWAY 200 BOTTLES, with your help, that is . . . Come on out for a visit - find a treasure - buy a bottle of jam - and take home some of your favourite baked goods.

During the month of May, we are looking at Abraham & Sarah's story as part of our senior worship services.
Many vintage seniors face tough decisions regarding selling their homes, moving closer to family, moving to a retirement community, or moving in with family.
God promised to bless this vintage couple, and that they themselves would be a blessing.
Change can be emotionally challenging, especially letting go of the familiar for something unfamiliar, yet we can trust God to bless us, and in our new environment, we can be a blessing to others.

Gail is our newest Blue Jays fan at The Manor to receive some Blue Jays merch to make cheering more fun.
We would love to provide all the Vintage Senior Jays fans with either a cap or shirt for our watch parties, and we need your help to make it happen.
If you are updating your Jays wardrobe with some of our newer sluggers and pitchers, consider donating your older ones to deck our seniors out in Blue Jay Blue.
A big thanks to those who have already donated.

Welcome Rev. Hwikyung Kim, who is the first minister ordained in Living Stones. It was an honour to serve with Rev. John Park and Rev. Shannon Bell in this special service of ordination that honoured Hwikyung's Korean heritage by incorporating Korean and English.
May God bless Hwikyung, his beautiful wife and daughter, and the Christian community they serve.

Most, perhaps all, of us poses a question or two in our lifetime that begins 'Why does God allow . . . ?
It is not a simple question and there is no simple answer. These are good questions to discuss in a study group, talk through with Christian friends, ask your minister/pastor/priest, and bring to God in prayer.
Job, in the midst of great suffering, says he would like to talk with God face to face on the question. God does not rebuke him or give him a simple answer. There is no simple answer, so God gives Job questions to ponder and give perspective. Take some time and read through Job 38-41. It is not a long read, but it certainly is food for thought.
