🧡 Orange is inspired by the story of Phyllis Webstad, whose new orange shirt was taken from her on her first day at a residential school — a symbol of all that was lost. Today, orange represents not only the loss, but also the resilience and strength of Indigenous Peoples and communities.
Tomorrow we will join Ridge Kids Playcare to share that story with this generation of littles and do some orange shirt art to remember what truth & reconciliation is for.

We are having a blast this week! The children have tapped into their creative skills working with clay, creating various slimes and doughs, beaded animals and key chains, bracelets, soaps, beautiful sand paintings and more! When they're not crafting, they're playing hard outdoors at the park and enjoying the sea serpent when weather allows! When we're indoors, the fun continues with over 24 games card and board games to choose from!!! We can't forget the homemade rice crispy treats they made - yum!
