The City of Grande Prairie is continuing its tradition of handing out volunteer awards, this year without the partnership of the now defunct Grande Prairie Regional Association of Volunteer Organizations.

It will still hand out the George Repka Outstanding Achievement Award and Bill Bowes Volunteer Organization of the Year Award. GPRAVO used to also hand out Leaders of Tomorrow Awards, the Volunteer of the Year Award, and the Corporate Volunteer of the Year Award.
