By providing an alternative to formal court proceedings, YJC's aim to reduce the risk of further involvement in the justice system and promote positive outcomes for young people.

Would you have a couple of hours per week to spare and be interested in a volunteer position with the Northern Lights Youth Justice Committee?

After losing most of our team due to relocations, followed by a lengthy hiatus, we are reaching out to see if there is interest from Grande Prairie and area community members who would like to be a part of something meaningful and impactful. This is a truly valuable program that has allowed many youth to continue down a positive path and it would be a shame to let it fall to the wayside.
