We are incredibly grateful for the generous support from AltaGas through the NAF. Their commitment and investment in our community make a meaningful difference, helping create opportunities, strengthen connections, and support important programs and initiatives. Partnerships like these play a vital role in empowering individuals and building a brighter future for everyone involved. We sincerely appreciate their continued support, generosity, and belief in the work we are doing. Thank you!

When Paizley and her brother Bentley were both diagnosed with a rare kidney disease, their family quickly learned how overwhelming it can be to travel for medical care. The financial strain, time away from home, and emotional toll can be just as heavy as the diagnosis itself.

From that experience, something powerful was created. Paizley’s Purses and Bentley’s Backpacks is now supporting families across our region by helping cover travel, accommodations, and essential expenses when care requires time away from home.

Thanks to a grant made possible through the AltaGas Charity Golf Tournament and the incredible support of their sponsors, new backpacks have been purchased to provide thoughtfully curated care packages for children, siblings, and parents staying in hospital, offering comfort, distraction, and a small sense of normal during incredibly difficult moments.

This is the impact of community in action.

Through partnerships like this, Northwestern Alberta Foundation is proud to help connect generosity with need, supporting local organizations and ensuring families in our region are not facing these challenges alone.
