Get Your Shed Together. Help us build something that matters.

We’ve reached $22,000 of our $50,000 Men’s Shed goal, and we’re incredibly grateful to everyone who has helped us get this far.

🔨 But there’s still work to do. 🔨

Our Get Your Shed Together campaign is looking for businesses and organizations ready to roll up their sleeves and help us keep the Men's Shed growing and thriving.

We’re creating a place where men can connect, share skills, build friendships, find purpose, and have conversations that can make a difference.

We still have $28,000 to raise. ✨Could your business help us get there?✨

Whether through sponsorship, a donation, or connecting us with others who may want to get involved, every contribution brings us to sustain and strengthen the Men's Shed for the future.

Well, reminiscing today about TV shows: Gunsmoke, Fawlty Towers, Bonanza, Beverly Hillbillies. Then, more discussion about our friend Dwight Crouse. He brought in wood to build a Planter but died before he could build it. Richard made a planter with it in his memory: it’s mostly square and almost even, just like Dwight used to do. If anyone is interested in purchasing this to remember him, please reach out to the shed. We have received over $1000 in memorial gifts in his memory, to those doners, Thankyou. Please see the comments for the link to donate. RIP Dwight.

We didn’t get a chance to say goodbye. Dwight was a member of our shed for the last two or three years. Dwight came by the shed last week, delivering some wood to make a planter box. He died before he could come back to build it. We will miss the “Muffin Man”. He would swim five times at the Eastlink pool. To reward himself he baked muffins. But couldn’t eat them all so he would bring them to the shed instead. Dwight was a complex guy, but he was willing to share, to listen and to offer advice when it was warranted. See you on the other side, Dwight. He would be embarrassed but there were quite a few tears shed at the shed. As a wonderful gesture: In lieu of flowers, donations to The Men’s Shed are appreciated. Link is in the obituary.

August 20, 1965 – August 9, 2026 The family of Dwight John Crouse is sad to share that he passed away on August 9, 2026 at the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital after a short and brave battle with cancer. Dwight was born and raised in Grande Prairie, the youngest of five children to Mel and Bea Cro...

We're 44% of the way there! đź’™

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our sponsors, donors, and community supporters, we've raised $22,000 toward our $50,000 Men's Shed 🔨Get Your Shed Together🔨 campaign goal.

Every contribution brings us one step closer, and we are truly grateful for the support we've received.

A Men's Shed is more than just a building. It's a welcoming space where men can connect, share skills, build friendships, find purpose and support one another through life's ups and downs.

We still have $28,000 to raise and are looking for additional sponsors to help make this vision a reality.

If your business or organization is interested in rolling up their sleeves on men's mental health and community connection, we'd love to connect with you. đź’™
