Join us on September 9, 2026, for International FASD Awareness Day as we come together to raise awareness, show support, and build understanding around Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD).

Are you an experienced cook who enjoys working in a fast-paced camp environment? We’re looking for a Camp Cook for our TLU Camps September 14 to 18.

The Camp Cook will be responsible for:
🍽️ Meal planning, prep and cooking
👩‍🍳 Supervising and assigning tasks to Cook’s Helper and Kitchen Helpers
🛒 Purchasing cooking and cleaning supplies within established budgets
🧼 Maintaining kitchen cleanliness and proper food storage
⏰ Ensuring meals are prepared efficiently and according to the camp menu
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Previous commercial cooking experience for large groups preferred
• Experience cooking in backcountry or cultural camp settings
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Food Safe Handling Certification
• Minimum First Aid certification; Wilderness First Aid preferred
• Preference may be given to members of the Grande Cache Indigenous community

Do you enjoy working outdoors, meeting new people, and being part of a camp team? We’re looking for a Camp Hand to help support camp operations and ensure our guests have a safe and enjoyable experience from September 14th to the 18th.

The Camp Hand assists the Camp Coordinator with all aspects of running the camp and caring for guests, including:
🛏️ Cleaning and stocking guest tents and washrooms
🧹 Maintaining and cleaning outdoor areas
🗑️ Managing camp waste disposal
🪵Keeping wood stock piled for each tent and main camp area
💦Keep
🤝 Assisting and providing direction to camp guests
🛡️ Providing camp security on an alternating schedule
🏕️ Supporting the Camp Coordinator with daily camp operations
A strong Camp Hand is comfortable interacting with guests, working outdoors, following procedures, and maintaining camp operational standards.

Due to the forecasted rain, we have made the decision to adjust our schedule. Tuesday, September 1st will now be the final day of our AWN Hunting Camp.

We appreciate everyone’s understanding and flexibility as we make this change to ensure everyone’s safety and comfort.

🧽 WE’RE HIRING: KITCHEN HELPER 🏕️

Are you hardworking, organized, and comfortable working in a busy kitchen environment? We’re looking for a Kitchen Helper to join our camp team!

The Kitchen Helper will assist our cooking staff with maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen environment, including:

🧼 Cleaning and maintaining the kitchen and dining areas
🍽️ Washing dishes, cutlery, and kitchenware
🔥 Cleaning ovens, grills, and other kitchen appliances
🧹 Assisting with general kitchen cleaning and other duties as required
👩‍🍳 Supporting cooking staff to help keep the kitchen running smoothly

💪 PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Able to stand for extended periods
• Able to lift and carry items such as garbage bags and cleaning buckets
• Comfortable working in a hot, busy, and fast-paced kitchen environment
• Able to follow directions and work well as part of a team

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Knowledge of sanitation standards
• Familiarity with general cleaning tasks
