In Memoriam:
It is with deep sadness that the Council learned of the passing of one of the founding minds of the Southwest Fundy Progressive Protection Council.
Sue Farquharson was instrumental in the creation of the Council and we will mourn the loss of a friend and colleague immensely. Sue, as a founding council member, saw the importance of different sectors of the seafood industry coming together to work toward a common goal, the basis of the creation of the council. Sue brought many years of leadership experience having served as the Executive Director of Eastern Charlotte Waterways and Executive Director of the Atlantic Canada Fish Farmers Association.
Our thoughts and condolences are with her family. May she rest in peace.
