This fluffy little orange beauty is Ginger! 😻 At approximately 2 years old, Ginger is a gorgeous girl with a big personality and plenty of love to give.

Ginger would prefer to be the one and only kitty in her forever home, as she isn’t a fan of sharing her space with other cats. 🐈‍⬛🚫 We’re also unsure how she feels about dogs, so any introductions would need to be done slowly and carefully.

At 5 years old, Noah is past the crazy kitten stage and ready to settle into a forever home where he can be loved and spoiled. 🥛🐾 MEET MILKSHAKE! 🐾🥛

Sweet, friendly, and ready to find a family of her very own! 💕

Milkshake is a beautiful 1.5-year-old girl who came to us with a tiny kitten in tow. She was a wonderful mama, but now that her kitten is growing up, it’s finally Milkshake’s turn to be someone’s baby! 🥹❤️

Milkshake is a lovely, easy-going girl who enjoys human attention and has a sweet personality. She’s not particularly fond of sharing her space with other cats, though, so she would likely be happiest as the one-and-only kitty in her new home. 🐱👑

We’re not sure yet how Milkshake feels about dogs or children, but she has a pretty relaxed and adaptable nature, so we think she may do well with respectful introductions and the right family.

Milkshake has now been spayed, vaccinated, treated for parasites, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $175.

📣 CALLING ALL GRAND FORKS-BASED SUPPORTERS 📣

Over the years we've had many folks offer to help the organization in ways other than doing Shelter shifts, as some folks have allergies or physical limitations that can prevent participation. Unfortunately we've lost track of whom has made these offers, so we're reaching out here! 😺👋🏼

Currently we are in need of volunteers to help sell of 50/50 raffle tickets & man our info booth at multiple events throughout this month 🎟🐾.

🧡 ADOPTED! 🖤

Meet the queen of "tortitude" Miss Hersilia. We made the mistake of naming this little sass after a roman goddess, and boy has she let that go to her head! 😼 She has informed us she "does not like babies", so she was transferred from the Kitten Room to one of the adult common rooms at the Shelter. There, she made her way to each of the 10 adult cats in the room and very loudly proclaimed her presence, and that she is to be feared & respected! 👑

Hersilia is only 4.5mths old, so we think the sass in her will only grow stronger. But true torti lovers LOVE that 'tude 😁. She has chillaxed with the adult cats now that they all know their place. She would likely do fine in a home with a servant dog or two 😉.

She is not a "pick me up and cuddly me" kinda cat, but she will allow petting time on HER schedule. As you can see from the video she can be sweet & friendly with a small bribe 🍗.

🧡 This handsome fella is Snoop Dogg 🧡

He came to us a little over a year ago, from a hoarding situation after his elderly owner passed. He was one of 38 kitties rescued. 😿

All but one of his siblings have found homes of their own. He was a bit of a straggler, it took longer for him to warm up to people. However, through care in foster, he has come to realize humans aren't so bad after all. Now he loves attention and playing, he'll even let you rub his tummy! 😸

Snoop is approximately 2yrs old now. He likes other cats and doesn't mind small dogs. He can be a bit skittish with a lot of action, so a quiet home would probably be best. His adoption fee is $175. This precious little guy is Spot, and he is feeling pretty blue right now 😿. Spots human was in a car accident and is no longer able to care for Spot, so he is looking for a new furever home.

Spot is a little over 3yrs old. He was shaved a few months ago as he ended up getting some mats in his fur, so it is actually longer than in his photos. He will need regular brushing to keep his fabulous coat mat-free 😸

Spot has lived with other cats just fine. He has never been around dogs or young children, and due to his shy nature he will likely due best in a quieter home.

As Spot was already neutered & microchipped when he was younger, his rehoming fee is only $25. If you think you can provide a safe & loving home for this sweet boy, please reach out now 🩵.

⭐️🐈‍⬛ FOSTER HOMES DESPERATELY NEEDED! 🐈‍⬛⭐️

We currently have many unsocialized older kittens (12–13 weeks old), as well as several older cats who desperately need the time, patience, and one-on-one attention that will allow their true personalities to blossom. ❤️

For some of these kitties, a foster home could make all the difference between spending months in rescue and finally finding a loving forever family. 🥺

If you have a quiet, uncluttered room in your home and a few hours each day to spend socializing with a kitty in need, please consider becoming a foster! 🏡🐾
