🍻CRAFT FAIR AT THE TERRACE!🍻

We are SUPER EXCITED to announce our craft fair at The Terrace Pub & Patio! On Sunday, June 7 from 11-5 we will be welcoming all kinds of amazing local vendors to share their talents!

We have coordinated the timing with the pick-up for the Scouts Canada Online Auction, which is expected to attract 100+ winning bidders. So that's some guaranteed traffic! There will be no admission charged, and the bar will have some amazing drink specials to further entice customers to visit your table!

We have free WIFI available, and we'll offer cash-back services to customers so vendors won't have to worry about credit card fees.
The Scouts will also be onsite running a full canteen menu for yet another reason for folks to visit our event!

Tables are very limited, so message us ASAP if you are interested! We are asking for a $50 donation for a table, and 100% of the proceeds will go to Exploits Valley Scouting to benefit the youth of our community!

🏎️ 🚦1st Annual Exploits Valley Pinewood Derby🚦🏎️

I’m sure many of you remember racing Kub Kars as a kid, or perhaps as a parent helping your son or daughter design their Kub Kars, but now it’s finally time to get to the races yourself!

Exploits Valley Scouting is running the first of what will be an annual Pinewood Derby competition for businesses and organizations in the Exploits Valley.

🏆 YES – the winner will get a trophy! 🏆

To be more specific, you’ll get your name on the trophy and you’ll get to display it in your business until next year’s derby. You will also get a plaque that you can keep forever!

The derby will be held at The Terrace Pub & Patio on Saturday, May 30th, 2026.

This will be a HUGE event as we are also lining it up with our annual online auction (which attracts hundreds of people!), AND having a BBQ at the Terrace, AND arranging live music all night! All this in support of local Scouting! Pennants for the derby will be set up a full week in advance, so supporting businesses will get a LOT of exposure through the Terrace’s huge customer base!

This is your official invitation to get in on the fun and earn your business the Pinewood Derby Championship! Each Pinewood Derby (Kub Kar) kit includes a block of wood, wheels and nails for axles (and instructions!).

Super easy build, but the real fun is in creating the most awesome car to represent your business!

We had an ABSOLUTE BLAST at the Grand Falls-Windsor and Bishop's Falls Santa Claus parades! Huge thanks to our volunteers, our youth, and our float sponsors (Mobile Hydraulic Services Inc., Prime Construction Group and The Terrace Pub & Patio) - to pull off this AMAZING float we needed all the help we could get!

We are thrilled to announce that we won FIRST PLACE in Grand Falls-Windsor!!!

Scouting is alive and well in Exploits Valley, and we welcome new youth ANY TIME of the year! All youth welcome, and we have programs available for youth 5-26! Start your adventure today!

FAMILY TRAIL POSTPONED

Due to the rain, our family-friendly trail will be postponed until tomorrow from 12-2.

Evening trail tonight is going ahead as planned. Rain should stop well before we open.

During the daylight we offer family friendly trick-or-treating on our decorated trail, but when the sun sets the fog rolls and the ghouls come out in force for a truly scary Halloween adventure!
