Now Hiring: Interpretive Guide

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Interpretive Guide to join our team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Provide visitor orientation and information services
* Organize and coordinate activities and tours for groups of various sizes
* Deliver engaging presentations to small and large groups
* Collect admission fees
* Assist with general visitor services and program support

Qualifications:

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to speak confidently to both small and large groups
* Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
* Friendly, professional, and reliable

June 1, we celebrated one of nature’s most remarkable species—the wild Atlantic salmon.
For generations, salmon have been at the heart of our rivers, communities, and culture. Here on the Exploits River, we are privileged to witness the incredible journey of these fish as they return from the North Atlantic to the waters where they were born.
International Wild Salmon Day is an opportunity to recognize the importance of conserving and protecting wild salmon and the habitats they depend upon. Through education, stewardship, habitat restoration, and community involvement, we can help ensure future generations will continue to experience the wonder of wild salmon.
The Salmonid Interpretation Centre is proud to share the story of Atlantic salmon and the ongoing efforts to protect this iconic species.
Together, let's celebrate, learn, and work to safeguard wild salmon and healthy rivers for years to come.
