Ensuring a Sustainable Growing Community
As a Lakeside destination, we have to accept that we are heavily influenced by tourism and the influx of visitors and money that it brings to Ward 1 Grand Bend.
However, our decisions for the growth of the community cannot be just about catering to that tourism. As residents, we want to ensure that there is a balance between continuing healthy profits, managing the effects of heavy tourism and maintaining a desirable quality of life for residents.
Public Transit is important to our community an affords our residents the freedom and mobility they require.
Regarding Urban Infrastructure, we need to address the immediate issues of traffic and parking congestion and we deserve a Community Hub.
