Celebrating Our Geebees Coaches! ⚽❤️

​Today is National Coaches Day, and we want to take a moment to shine a light on the absolute heart and soul of our soccer community.

​We may be a little biased, but we truly believe we have the best coaches! But what makes them so special isn't just their knowledge of the sport—it’s how much they care. Our coaches look out for our kids, support every player's growth, and cheer them on through every win, loss and challenge. They show up tirelessly, give so much of their own time behind the scenes, and quite simply, they love our kids like their own.

​To all our coaches: Thank you for your endless patience, your positivity, and the incredible mentors you are both on and off the field. You are shaping not just great athletes, but wonderful people.

We appreciate everything you do for our club, on and off the field! You are the players biggest fans, and they are yours! Never forget that. ❤️

Bronze medals and big smiles! 🥉⚽💗

Our Geebees had an amazing time competing in the annual Sandy Wiscombe Memorial Soccer Tournament this weekend! So proud of every single player—the sportsmanship, work ethic, skill and teamwork these girls showed was a beautiful thing to see! Our awesome U13s stepped up and played amazing all weekend with their team, Chest Patrol! Our team The Pink Passers came home with not just a bronze medal, but also new friendships and lots of awesome memories!

Hats off to Marystown United who put off another amazing tournament that our girls look forward to each year. We are already looking forward to next year!

Important Notice Regarding Player Poaching and Unethical Recruitment

To all parents, players, and members of our soccer community:

We are issuing this statement to address a serious issue affecting our club and youth soccer in our region.

It has come to our attention that individuals associated with other organizations have been approaching parents and players from our club directly. We want to make it unequivocally clear that poaching registered players is strictly prohibited by both Canada Soccer and NLSA rules and regulations. Unfortunately this has been going on for many years and our association is no longer willing to stand idly by and let it continue.

Beyond being a clear violation of governing laws, these predatory recruitment practices do real harm to our sport.

It destroys local clubs: Undermining rosters behind the scenes destabilizes community programs that volunteers work tirelessly to build and support.

It hurts the kids: Targeting young players creates unnecessary pressure, disrupts development, fractures team dynamics, and separates friends who just want to play together. Youth soccer must remain focused on the well-being and growth of the children, not the self-interest or politics of adult recruiters.

Reporting Incidents

If you, your child, or anyone in our club is approached by a coach or official from another organization seeking to recruit or entice players away:

Do not engage with the individual.

Report the incident immediately to our executive board at [email protected]. Please provide any details you have, including the person’s name, date, and method of contact.

Every report submitted to us will be documented and formally escalated to the NLSA for investigation and disciplinary action.

Thank you for standing with us to protect our players, support our teams, and uphold integrity in our soccer community.

A Weekend to Remember in Miquelon! ⚽🇫🇷

What an unforgettable weekend for our U11 and U13 players, coaches, and families! From start to finish, the trip to Miquelon was an absolute highlight of our season.

A massive thank you to our gracious hosts in Miquelon for inviting us and extending such warmth and hospitality. Every single person we met made us feel right at home.

One of the best parts of the trip was watching our kids connect with the players from Miquelon. Language barriers didn't stop them for a single second—by the end of the weekend, you’d never know they weren't all lifelong friends! The sportsmanship and new friendships made on and off the pitch were truly special to see.

The parents and supporters had just as much fun cheering everyone on and soaking in the experience. We are so grateful for the memory-making weekend and the incredible kindness shown to our entire group.

We truly cannot wait to visit again! Thank you, ASM & Miquelon! Association Sportive Miquelonnaise❤️🧡

So proud of this amazing group representing us in Miquelon this weekend! They've been having fun, making new friends and lasting memories...not to mention playing some great football! 🌍⚽

​Our U11/13 Geebees fought hard in a fantastic semi-final match against ASM, taking the win and punching their ticket straight to the GOLD MEDAL FINAL against ASIA!

​They’ve played with heart, teamwork, and grit all weekend long. We couldn't be more proud!
