The Rotary Club of Gore Bay thanks all of the patrons and donors that contributed to making yesterday’s Fall Harvest Auction another resounding success. The generosity of the community in their support of this event is greatly appreciated. Special thanks to Robbie White for his efforts in making this event a success.

Gore Bay Rotary held a Fellowship Meeting at Maple Ridge Farms on Thursday evening. Brian Bainborough provided an informative talk on the making maple syrup and the industry in Ontario. We were treated to a sampling of the different grades of syrup - sweet! Maple Ridge Farms has donated 2-2L jugs of their “liquid gold” to be auctioned at the upcoming Rotary Fall Harvest Auction on Saturday, October 11th at the Gore Bay Community Hall.

Gore Bay Rotary is pleased to contribute the proceeds from the 2025 Rotary Dinner Theatre event (held on July 11th) to the Gore Bay Gordon-Barrie Island Joint Fire Board. On hand for the presentation of the cheque was GBFD Fire Chief Mike Addison. These funds will assist the GBFD to acquire the PPE needed to help keep its volunteer firefighters safe as they conduct fireground operations.

Hola desde Madrid!
Meet Cameron Meawasige, our Rotary International Youth Exchange student. She arrived safely in Madrid, Spain today. She will be spending the coming school year studying in Spanish while living with her host family. We wish her well on this exciting adventure.
