The summer hiking, biking and running season is here at Birch Brook! There are no changes to our rates for trail passes and our $50 summer/fall pass. We ask that all users purchase their pass before accessing our trails. As much as we'd love to allow free access, please respect that there is a significant cost to maintain our large trail network and keep it use-able year round. Thank you, and enjoy the trails!

With the end of our winter season comes the end of our first ever Birch Brook Babies initiative! 🥰

Thank you to every strong, capable, enthusiastic momma that joined us on the trails this fall and winter. Not only did you show up for yourself and your little adventurer, but you laid a foundation for health, wellness and a love of nature for years to come.

Thank you for showing up tired. Thank you for showing up in the cold. Thank you for showing up when you knew you’d be led up big hills and through unpacked trails 🫣😆 It was the most wonderful winter of adventuring with our babies!

Well folks, with rain, and upcoming double-digit daytime temperatures, the 2025/26 grooming season is very likely over.

The trails are still open for public non-motorized activities if you'd like to venture out for a ski or snowshoe. For the best experience and to help protect the trail surface for as long as possible, please plan to head out in the early hours, as the snow tends to become too soft in the afternoons.

As the snow continues to melt and once it disappears, please wait until the ground has fully dried out before using the trails.

We'll post an update when we are opening for activities such as walking, hiking, running and biking.

Sometimes you just gotta roll with it! WE ARE OPEN TOMORROW, Saturday April 18th from 10am - 4pm. Steve will have trails groomed, and it will be a beautiful day. Drop by and make the best of this fresh snow. ❄

We are doing a doggy day today!

Head to Birch Brook with your pup, grab a trail pass for yourself, and head out on snowshoes or skis to enjoy the trails. Remember to pick up after your dog, and they must remain on leash.
