🚨 NEW MEET-UP TIME AND LOCATION FOR TOMORROW'S GROUP RIDE! 🚨

⏰ Meet @ 5:30 p.m.
📍 Where? Cedar Lake parking lot
🚵 Intermediate trails for a nice loop!

We’ll pedal up and over to Canyon Creek and make our way back through the Moonrakers.

🌵 Trail of the Week: Tonight Tequila

Fun from north to south! Start heading up Arrowhead and look for Tonight Tequila on your left.

From there, do a quick look back via Tower Road and Better Than Boston, or keep exploring and go get lost in the Moonrakers. Lots to see out there!

🌧️ The dirt is in great shape after the recent rain, so it’s a good time to get out.

🏃🚲 Duathlon - Aug. 27 (TOMORROW!)
Run. Ride. Or both? Get randomly paired up and have fun racing!

⛽ Full Gas Fall Enduro — Sept. 5 + Oct. 3
Grassroots enduro racing. Come check it out. Must be comfy with Mt 7 Black trails.

🚵 Furious 5 — Sept. 10, 17 + 24
Thursday FUN races are back for September!

🌄 Equinox Weekend — Sept. 19–20
A full weekend of bikes, including the GAL Enduro and Gravel Race.

There are lots of different ways to help out across these events — whether you’ve got a couple of hours or want to spend the day with us.

👉 We especially need volunteers for the Equinox Gravel Race, so if you’re available that weekend, we’d love to have you!

TRAIL REPORT - Aug 17, 2026

A little infrastructure TLC is always on the books!

🔨 Broken bridge decking was replaced throughout both the CBT and Moonraker networks.

The crew also tackled the long bridge span on Twisted Sister, adding some new shoring and support to firm things up. The good ol' gabion basket came in handy in Cedar Creek this week.

Over at the Skills Park, some much-needed brushing helped tidy things up. If you haven't been up there to check out the clap capping, you should really go check it out!

TRAIL REPORT - Aug 11, 2026

The crew has been tackling bridge repairs, clearing downed trees and squeezing in a bit of dirt work where they can, but things are sure dry out there!

🔨 Infrastructure repairs will continue this week, getting bridges and other wooden features into better shape across the network.

💨 With the recent heat and heavy smoke, the crew took a few days off to let the lungs liberate!

🌲 If you spot a downed tree or something that needs attention, post it on the Golden Cycling Club Maintenance page on Facebook. It’s the best way to make sure the crew sees it.
