Columbia Basin Alliance for Literacy - Golden Settlement Services, in partnership with the Migrant Workers' Centre, is hosting a free workshop on employment rights! The event is on Tuesday, September 1st, from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM at the CBAL Office ( #106-421 9th Avenue North). Join Jonathan Braun, Legal Director of the Migrant Workers Centre, to learn about: legal protections for workers, employer obligations, and how to deal with unfair treatment at work.

To register, please email [email protected] or call 250-344-8392. If you are on a closed work permit or do not have valid immigration status, you may book a free 20-minute individual meeting with Jonathan Braun for legal advice before or after the workshop. Please request this when you register. Spaces for individual meetings are limited.
