Music in the Sound 🎤 is happening this weekend at the outdoor theatre. On August 8 young rising stars will light up the stage. This evening is FREE. On August 9 Kitchinparti will take the stage! (Cost: $20.00) We hope to see you there!

The Playground, Multipurpose Court and Beach Volleyball Court will be closed on Monday, July 28, 2025 for maintenance and repairs.

Please avoid the area. All efforts will be made to have these upgrades completed as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Although the provincal fire ban is now lifted, Glovertowns Fire Ban remains in effect until further notice.

Town of Glovertown
Fire Ban

Due to the extremely dry and windy conditions, the Glovertown Town Council has issued a FIRE BAN. This decision is based on a recommendation from our Fire Department and a high Provincial Fire Index.

No fires of ANY kind permitted, this includes but not limited to:

• Fire Pits
• Open Fires
• Fire Works
• Charcoal BBQ’s

Just as important, we kindly ask that all ci******es be extinguished and disposed of cautiously during this time.

The Municipality of Glovertown has issued a Boil Water Advisory for all residents serviced by the town water as of June 18, 2025.

Consumers are advised to bring water used for the following purposes to a rigorous rolling boil for five minutes:

• drinking cooking
• brushing teeth washing fruits/vegetables
• making ice making coffee/tea etc.
• making juice and other juice from concentrate and powders
• making infant formula and cereal

Note: Council and Provincial Staff will be checking the chlorine readings regularly and will advise when the order has been lifted.
