The One Where Dana and Kristin Got Arrested

Our president Dana and board member Kristin showed up to support a good cause - Gimli’s 1st Jail-A-Thon for Special Olympics Manitoba. Turns out that no title (not even “president”) gets you immunity….and they both ended up “arrested” 😆

For just $10, the community could slap a warrant on your favorite “troublemaker,” and local RCMP hauled them off to the event jail, all in good fun for an amazing cause.

🚨 Dana DesRoches - Guilty of outstanding warrants in the courts of positivity.
🚨 Kristin Strachan - Guilty of possession of a dangerous amount of fun.

And we’re now guilty of being the most bailed-out board in Gimli.

Thank you to everyone who chipped in $10 for a warrant, and who bailed them out!
We have an upcoming AGM they need to be present at (date announced soon)!

Gimli Park was ALL smiles last night 😊
Free bracelet making from Hailey’s Way Inc, bouncy houses, face painting, games, and dancing until dark, this end-of-summer street party had it all.
Thank you to the RM of Gimli, the Riverton District Friendship centre and the Powder Princess for letting us be a part of this event!
