The Oksana & Quinn Dutchyshen Memorial Splashpark Who are we? We are a collection of volunteers in the Municipal Community of Gilbert Plains. What IS our goal? What ARE the costs associated with this?

We are a group of dedicated community volunteers looking to make a difference for our community by building something for our generation and the coming ones to enjoy also in hopes of producing an economic boost to the area in return for everyone! Currently our volunteer list is as follows: Kimberley Perih, Cory Gulenchin, Nicole Bileski & Tabi Galloway. We are always open to having more members jo

in us on this adventure, however. Please contact any of the aforementioned individuals should you wish to your time in helping us achieve our goal. We, as residents of Gilbert Plains, have identified the clear need for an advanced water park and play zone for the children of the area. Our goal is to create a state of the art water park area that is accessible for all of local residents to utilize. We also aspire to work with our current and future Municipal Councils, as well as other local Volunteer Groups within our Community to plan, finance and create a long term maintenance vision that will be both cost effective and comprehensive for years to come. As we are still in the beginning stages of this Initiative, we are currently gathering plans, pricing and information on the long term financial costs of this park. Our hopes are to create a fair sized, fun and interactive splash area for both children and their parents to use for years to come. How do we hope to finance this initiative? As a volunteer group, we are committed to pursuing many different and fun fundraising efforts to reach our financial goals. We are also hoping to utilize any and all Government Grants that might be applicable to our community project. Lastly, we will gladly accept any donations from local Businesses, Private Citizens and Alumni of the area who might wish to directly impact this Initiative. None of the individuals participating in this Splash Park committee are being paid, we are all true volunteers offering both our effort and time to achieve our goal. With your help, we CAN achieve this goal for many future generations of Gilbert Plains to enjoy!
