Les mots ne sauraient exprimer toute notre gratitude envers notre merveilleuse communauté pour la façon extraordinaire dont vous vous êtes ralliés et avez soutenu la famille Jeatsa lors d'une période de chagrin incommensurable.​

La vague d'amour, les généreux dons, le temps précieux que vous avez si librement consacré et les dons de nourriture apportés pour le repas suivant les funérailles ont signifié plus que les mots ne peuvent l'exprimer pour la famille Jeatsa.​

Dans leurs heures les plus sombres, savoir qu'ils n'étaient pas seuls — que leurs voisins et amis les portaient dans leurs pensées et portaient une part de ce lourd fardeau à leurs côtés — leur a apporté un réconfort qu'ils n'oublieront jamais.​

Merci pour chaque mot bienveillant, chaque étreinte et chaque discret témoignage de soutien. Vous avez démontré le véritable sens de la communauté, et votre compassion a été une lumière constante alors que tout le reste semblait sombre.

A Profound Thank You to Our Incredible Community

Words cannot adequately express the depth of our gratitude to our wonderful community for the incredible way you rallied together and stood by the Jeatsa family during a time of unimaginable heartbreak.

​The outpouring of love, the generous donations, the precious time you so freely gave, and the food donations that were brought to the luncheon following the funeral meant more to the Jeatsa family than any words can convey.

In their darkest hours, knowing that they were not alone—that their neighbors and friends were holding them in their thoughts and carrying some of the heavy burden alongside them—brought a measure of comfort they will never forget.

​Thank you for every kind word, every embrace, and every quiet act of support. You have shown the true meaning of community, and your compassion has been a steadfast light when everything else felt dark. The family holds your kindness deeply in their hearts, always.

Une réception aura lieu après l'inhumation dans la salle paroissiale de l'église Catholique Sainte-Thérèse.

Soutien à la famille Jeatsa de Geraldton.

Chère communauté,

Comme beaucoup d’entre vous le savent déjà, notre petite communauté est en deuil à la suite de la perte déchirante de la précieuse Marione Jeatsa, de Geraldton, qui est décédée subitement le 18 août, deux jours avant son 6e anniversaire.

Son père, Thiery Jeatsa, est bien connu dans notre communauté et travaille comme professeur d'éducation physique à l'École Ste. Joseph à Geraldton.

Les mots ne peuvent exprimer adéquatement la profonde tristesse que nous ressentons pour Thiery et sa famille en cette période dévastatrice : son épouse Judith, fille Sharonn, ainsi que ses 2 fils Thomson et Apollon.

Afin d’alléger le fardeau financier immédiat lié aux frais funéraires et aux dépenses de fin de vie, le Greenstone Harvest Centre (Banque Alimentaire)coordonne une collecte de fonds communautaire pour soutenir la famille.

Si vous souhaitez contribuer, les dons sont actuellement acceptés et suivis de façon sécurisée par le Greenstone Harvest Centre.

Nous préparerons également une carte comprenant les noms de toutes les personnes ayant contribué, qui sera remise à la famille Jeatsa avec les fonds recueillis, afin qu’elle sache qu’elle est entourée de l’amour et du soutien de toute sa communauté.

Bien que notre communauté soit petite par le nombre, elle a un cœur d'or!

​L'immense élan d'amour, de prières et de dons pour aider à couvrir les frais funéraires a soulagé la famille Jeatsa d'un poids immense, leur permettant de prendre le temps de faire leur deuil et d'honorer leur précieuse Marione.

​Merci d'avoir répondu présents, d'avoir donné si généreusement et d'avoir été là quand cela comptait le plus. Votre gentillesse, votre compassion et votre solidarité ne seront jamais oubliées.

​Dans les moments de perte profonde, on se demande souvent si l'on en fait « assez » ou si notre contribution est trop modeste. La valeur d'un don ne mesure pas la profondeur de l'affection. Chaque contribution — grande ou petite — provenait d'un cœur bienveillant et d'un chagrin partagé. C'est cette gentillesse collective qui a soutenu la famille Jeatsa à travers les jours les plus difficiles.
​Merci pour votre générosité, votre compassion et pour veiller à ce que l'on se souvienne de la précieuse Marione avec tout l'amour qu'elle a apporté dans ce monde.

Funeral Services for Marione Jeatsa will be held on Wednesday August 26 @ 2pm at Ste. Theresa's Catholic Church in Geraldton.

A luncheon will take place after the interment at the Parish Hall. If anyone is wanting to donate to the luncheon ( food, beverages) please contact Margie Rondeau at 807-853-2613.

Though our community may be small in numbers, it has a heart of gold!

The overwhelming outpouring of love, prayers, and donations to help cover funeral expenses has lifted a profound weight off the Jeatsa family's shoulders, allowing them space to grieve and honor their precious Marione.

​Thank you for stepping up, for giving so generously, and for showing up when it mattered most. Your kindness, compassion, and solidarity will never be forgotten.

In moments of profound loss, people often worry whether they are doing "enough" or if their contribution is too small. The value of a dollar does not measure the depth of care. Every single donation—big or small—came with a caring heart and a shared sorrow. That collective kindness is what has carried the Jeatsa family through the hardest days.

​Thank you for your generosity, your compassion, and for making sure that precious Marione is remembered with all the love she brought into this world.

We GHC are profoundly blessed to serve such a caring community.

Support for the Jeatsa Family from Geraldton

​Dear community,

As many of you already know, our small community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of precious Marione Jeatsa from Geraldton who passed away unexpectedly on August 18, two days before her 6th Birthday.

Her father, Thiery Jeatsa, is familiar to many of us through his dedication to students at École St-Joseph and his involvement in local youth sports.

​Words cannot adequately express the sorrow we feel for Thiery and his family during this devastating time.

To help ease the immediate financial burden of funeral and final expenses, the Greenstone Harvest Centre is coordinating a community fund to support the family.

​If you would like to contribute, donations are currently being accepted and securely tracked by the Greenstone Harvest Centre. We will compile a card with the names of all who contributed to present to the Jeatsa family alongside the funds, so they know they are surrounded by the love and support of their community.
