Pefferlaw Ice storm: last winter seven of our volunteers deployed to the Town of Georgina in support of the Region of York's response to the Ice Storm that left residents without power, some of whom were without power for up to ten days. Our volunteers worked with local emergency services and other volunteer organizations to conduct wellness checks both at people's homes and the local community centre which was acting as a warming centre.

This past August, we sent three of our volunteer Medical First Responders to provide medical coverage at evacuation centres in Winnipeg, in support of the emergency response to the Manitoba Wildfires by the Government of Manitoba. Our volunteers worked along with St John Ambulance members from Alberta and Saskatchewan, as well as other volunteer organizations and government agencies. Our three volunteers represented the largest contribution by a single unit in the Province of Ontario.

Flashback Monday. Our Medical First Responders at the Acton Fall Fair. Our volunteers have provided medical care at the fair for many years.
