To mark June 15, our partners across Quebec use their creativity and expertise to raise awareness about elder mistreatment. We believe it is important to promote the events they work so hard to organize each year. Here is one such event, which will be held online and will be accessible throughout Quebec.
You are invited to a webinar on “Love Scams and Their Impacts on Victims.” This webinar is offered to professionals from all sectors (health and social services, community organizations, etc.) as well as English-speaking seniors. This type of fraud is also known as a romance scam.
The webinar will be presented by Charles Viau-Quesnel, Full Professor in the Department of Psychoeducation and Social Work at the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières.
