In case you hadn't heard, Gulf Islands Community Radio is mounting a special, live radio play at ArtSpring on July 21 and 22.
Tickets are onsale for The Adventures of Tom Thumb, Private Detective, a hilarious spoof of noir gumshoe radio shows of the 1940s.
Written by Sid Filkow and directed by Damian Inwood, it features live sound effects, music by The Myrtle Sisters and The Regulars, and original radio commercials, written and arranged by Sue Newman.
The cast includes community theatre regulars, Wendy Beatty, Charlotte Mitchell, Charley Miller, Sue Newman and Mark O'Neill, plus veteran actor, Eric Mullins, and talented newcomer, Carlo Locatelli, with Sid Filkow in a delightful cameo.
Wendy Lau is stage-managing the show, which is a fundraiser for CHIR.fm.
The sound man is being played by David Crone.
Included in each night's show will be a door prize draw for a $100 gift certificate, generously donated by Country Grocer.
So get your tickets early, to avoid disappointment and please tell all your friends and your theatre buddies.
Below is a poster which you can post on your Facebook or Instagram page, to help get the word out.
