Galiano Community Housing Association The Galiano Community Housing Association is a non-profit society dedicated to researching and implementing affordable, safe & secure housing solutions.

The Galiano Land Trust was established to address the issue of housing security on Galiano Island, in the Southern Gulf Islands. The GLT oversees a project called Galiano Green, which is a ten acre bare land strata development being built on Galiano. Galiano Green will include owner-built homes on leased land, avoiding the high costs of owning land, as well as five permanent rental units, thereby helping to meet the varied housing needs of island residents; renters and home-owners alike.
