On July 8th, the Blooming Society & the Village of Fruitvale welcomed British Columbia Communities in Bloom judges to our wonderful village! We toured the downtown gardens and several local businesses. Enjoy some photos from the day!

Communities in Bloom judges will be touring the Village of Fruitvale on July 8th 2026. This is our chance to celebrate our vibrant village and highlight the pride we take in our small downtown and neighbourhoods. 🌼

🌷 We cleaned up the straw that had covered the tulips. They’re already quite tall! Thanks to our wonderful volunteers for coming out in the rain.🌷

🌷 A big thank you to Gillian from Fruitvale Feed and Farm for the generous donation of straw, used as protective mulch for our early-sprouting tulips!
