On behalf of the Frenchman Butte Royal Canadian Legion Branch #183, we’d like to extend warm congratulations to The Royal Canadian Legion as it proudly celebrates 100 years of service this year.
🇨🇦 Our freedom didn’t happen by accident. In a country that is true north, strong and free, the Legion reminds us to honour, remember, and support those who have served or continue to serve today.
The Legion has always been rooted in supporting Veterans, membership is open to anyone, and we’re proud to welcome Veterans, their families, and community members who want to show their support.

In honour of the Legion’s 100th Anniversary, Canadians who are not already members are invited to join as Centenary Members at no cost.

🇨🇦 A Proud Part of Frenchman Butte for 94 Years
Our Frenchman Butte Legion Branch #183 has been part of our beautiful hamlet for 94 years.
Over the years, we’ve hosted many community events, including dances, gatherings, and activities that helped create wonderful memories for local families.
We’re proud of what the Legion stands for, and we’d love to welcome more community members to join us and be part of it.
We also hold monthly cribbage, and participate in events such as the Annual Corn Roast and the River Run with RVCC in September.
🛠 Exciting Things Ahead
We’re also working on improvements to our Legion building, including plans to open the basement area by March 2026, creating a welcoming space for members and guests to enjoy coffee, visit, play cards, darts, pool, shuffleboard, and more.
