It was an honour to have the opportunity to address the crowd and share three key takeaways about the impactful work World Vision Canada is doing around the world.

1️⃣ We build sustainable change that lasts — not through handouts, but through long-term transformation in communities across the globe.
2️⃣ Together, we multiply impact — when corporate and church leaders come together, the ripple effect is powerful and far-reaching.
3️⃣ It starts right here with us — in Atlantic Canada, we have the opportunity to ignite real change both locally and globally.

What an incredible opportunity to speak at the John C. Maxwell Leadership Event Kingswood University. It was truly a privilege to share the stage with my dear friend and mentor, Laurel Buckingham.

Spending the day with such an inspiring group of leaders, pastors, and friends was both energizing and deeply inspiring—reminding me of what’s possible when purpose-driven leaders come together.

I look forward to what is ahead—and to continuing to build meaningful partnerships that create lasting impact.

If you are a corporate or church leader and would like to explore how we can make an impact together, I would love to connect—please feel free to call or send me a message

What a journey it has been… and we’re just getting started.

When Pastor Paul Legere and I first sat down to talk about World Vision, we dreamed about what it could look like to bring a Chosen experience to his church—about the kind of impact that could be made not only locally, but across the world.

It didn’t take long before Pastor Paul said yes… and from that moment on, it has been a whirlwind of purpose, faith, and transformation.

From speaking at Sea View Full Gospel Church - Concert For A Cause …
To Pastor Paul traveling to the field in Kenya and witnessing firsthand the life-changing impact of sponsorship—seeing how one decision can transform an entire village…
To standing together in Ottawa with pastors from across Canada, meeting with MPs and national leaders to advocate for the most vulnerable…

And then—The beautiful Concert for a Cause—where 14 individuals from Back Bay stepped forward in faith and chose to be part of something bigger than themselves.

The following week, in Awach, Uganda, those precious children chose them.

And today… we celebrated together as a church family, seeing the faces of the children who said “I choose you.”

There are no words to fully capture moments like this.

And this is just the beginning.

This Friday, Pastor Paul will be joining me at the John C. Maxwell Leadership Event, alongside incredible leaders from across our region.

And this Sunday, we’ll be sharing at Surelife Assembly for Mission Sunday—continuing to tell the story of what God is doing through this partnership.

Lives are being changed.
Communities are being transformed.
And hearts—ours included—are forever marked.

This is what happens when a church says yes.
This is what happens when we choose to be part of something greater.
