Had a wonderful evening getting together with friends at the Regent Mall for dinner and conversation. It is always such a blessing to enjoy one another’s company and spend time encouraging each other.
Tonight our discussion centered on Luke 13:6–9, the parable of the fig tree. We were reminded together of something truly beautiful — that God is a God of second chances. His patience, grace, and mercy give us opportunities to grow, change, and bear fruit in our lives.
Grateful for good friends, good conversation, and the goodness of God.

It was wonderful to see everyone who came out for dinner and conversation last evening at the mall. We had great conversation on Luke 15 and gained understanding on how we are to reach out to others. Gathering together fosters a senses of Belonging where each one can find they have a place and something special and important to offer. We hope you’ll join us next time. Greetings to all our friends and family,
Just wanted to share a post from one of the attendees from the Special Night of Ministry this past Sunday evening.

I just have to share this — last night I went with my new friend Sharon💞 to something called I Am Ministry, and I’d actually never even heard of it before. It’s a ministry for people with different challenges and disabilities, and honestly, it was such a beautiful night.

There was a speaker named Jason Steinfeld — a man who was born with no arms and physical differences in his legs — and his story absolutely blew me away. Through humor, song, and faith, he shared how God had a purpose for his life since the beginning. He said something that stuck with me: “God doesn’t make junk.” We are all made with purpose, and nobody is a mistake.

It really hit me that not all disabilities are visible. So many of us have been “disabled” by trauma, addiction, anxiety, or pain that people can’t see. And sometimes that’s even harder, because it’s not understood or taken seriously. But God still sees it — and He can use even those invisible struggles to help others heal.

I left feeling so encouraged. I know God is still working on my own testimony, and one day I’ll be ready to share it fully. But for now, I just wanted to say how much this night reminded me that He wastes nothing.

Last week I had the privilege of being one of the workshop presenters at the Canadian Baptists of Atlantic Canada, Annual Oasis at Acadia University, in Wolfville Nova Scotia. It is always good to be included and to make a contribution. I was able to include some special friends as part of the presentation via recording. Jason B. performed on the piano, Taylor and Jason P. we’re part of two interviews on belonging. It is always amazing what God can do when we build ministry with individuals, concentrating on their gifts and talents.

The Luke 14 Kingdom Venture, a ministry for those living with disabilities was blessed on Friday evening. It was an evening filled with a devotional, conversation, laughter, movie, games, and a special birthday celebration. It is always amazing how God shows up, how lives are touched. For those living with disabilities it was an evening to experience what it means to belong, to believe and to build on the Kingdom Calling God places on each life. We Look forward to getting together again soon!
