The Chalmers Foundation hosts a number of events throughout the year to support their annual campaigns; projects which work to address the current needs of our hospital. Past projects have included the establishment of a new Cardiac Diagnostics Unit, the purchase of new bedside monitors for the Emergency Room and the purchase of a state-of-the-art digital mamography unit.

This Truth & Reconciliation Day, your Orange Shirt purchase can support Indigenous Health programming at Horizon Health facilities across New Brunswick.

The shirt costs $25 and funds help patient navigators, smudging ceremonies, and sacred medicines reach someone who needs them during a hospital stay.

On June 27, Pam Doak, Colter Wood and their family opened their home for the Colter's Cause Kitchen Party Fundraiser. The result exceeded our expectations. Together, this incredible community raised $33,725 in support of Chalmers Foundation and IWK Foundation.

An evening of music, laughter and connection, made possible by so many generous hands. Thanks to sponsors and donors who gave from the heart, and a community that showed up in a big way for Colter and families like his.

To Pam, David, Colter and Jackson, thank you for sharing your home and your story with us. What began as one family's journey has grown into something that's changing lives for children and families receiving care.

We are endlessly grateful. 💛
