We honour the children who never returned home, Survivors of residential schools, their families, and Indigenous communities whose lives continue to be impacted by their legacy.

Today, and beyond today, we are reminded of the importance of listening, learning, and making space for truth as we continue on the path toward reconciliation.

Sometimes, a game-changing idea starts with a simple question: How can we do more?

Last year's $30,000 Game Changer Grant supported a partnership between Meals on Wheels Fredericton and CÉ D'ICI to help expand a school food program serving students across the Fredericton area.

Today, the partnership is helping provide nutritious, locally prepared meals to more than 3,600 students across 16 schools, while creating new opportunities for collaboration and long-term sustainability.

That's what the Game Changer Grant is about: giving strong ideas the resources to grow their impact.

Some summer memories come with a soundtrack. 🎸☀️

This summer, Charlotte Street Arts Centre and Girls+ Rock Camp gave young people a place to pick up an instrument, try something new, make some noise and find community along the way.

It’s one part of ArtReach, a collection of barrier-free, artist-led programs from Charlotte Street Arts Centre creating opportunities for newcomer, Indigenous, LGBTQIA+ and equity-deserving youth to explore music and photography.

Across ArtReach, 100 young people will receive training and mentorship through 40 classes and creative experiences in 2026, building skills, confidence and connections while finding space to express themselves.

And the creativity doesn’t end with summer. From workshops and monthly jam sessions to exhibitions and performances, ArtReach continues creating opportunities for young people to
learn, collaborate and share what they’ve made.

Through our Community Grants, Community Fund donors help make opportunities like these possible.

A big idea doesn't need a complicated application process.

The Game Changer Grant is a two-step opportunity designed to help us learn about your idea and give selected organizations the chance to tell us more.

💡 Start by submitting a Letter of Interest through our application portal.
🗣️ Three selected organizations will then present their ideas to our committee.
💰 Bring your project to life with up to $30,000 in funding.

Some summer adventures stay with you long after the canoe is back on shore. 🛶🌲

This summer, 140 youth had the opportunity to explore the New Brunswick wilderness through Camp Tippy Canoe, an adventure-based camp for youth at risk.

But the adventure was about much more than getting outdoors. Through mentorship, teamwork and plenty of time spent navigating the wilderness together, young people built confidence, strengthened relationships and developed skills that will help guide them long after summer ends.

And those relationships don’t necessarily end when camp does. Camp Tippy Canoe is an extension of a year-round program that can support young people for more than 10 years, from their first Adventure Classroom experiences through leadership and summer camp programs.

Through our Community Grants, Community Fund donors help create opportunities like these for young people in our community.

We help caring donors support community causes that enhance lives For Good. We’re an endowment-based, charitable foundation, so gifts are pooled and invested, and the annual earnings are granted back to the community Forever.

Some of the best summer memories are the simplest ones. ☀️

A walk to the park. Splashing in the water. Soaking up the sunshine. And having someone there who understands exactly what you need to enjoy it.

At Camp Marvel, 98 autistic children had the opportunity to experience summer camp with individualized support designed around them. Each camper spends one week with their own counsellor, receiving 35 hours of one-on-one mentorship, care and plenty of summer fun.

And the impact keeps growing. The program also created 15 summer jobs for young leaders who showed us just how much patience, compassion and care can mean to a child.

Through our Community Grants, Community Fund donors help make programs like this possible across the greater Fredericton and Oromocto areas.

Because every kid deserves a summer worth remembering.

That’s what the , presented by the Multicultural Association of Fredericton Inc., is all about.

Through music, food, art, performances, and shared experiences, the festival brings people together to celebrate the many cultures that make our community stronger, creating opportunities to connect, learn, and belong.

For more than just one day, the Cultural Expressions Festival reminds us that diversity is something to celebrate, and that the strongest communities are built when everyone feels welcome.

We’re proud that, through our Community Grants program, we’ve been able to support initiatives like the Cultural Expressions Festival that help build a more connected and inclusive community.
