Yard/Bake Sale - Saturday, May 30th from 8:00 am to noon. Donations accepted until 5:30pm Friday.
Information Session – Service Canada – Wednesday, June 3rd at 3:00 pm. Come learn about CPP, OAS, GIS, Dental Plan, Passports, and much more! Everyone is welcome! No charge!! The presenter, Sylvie Cummings, will be able to help a few individuals with applications and renewals.
Breakfast- Saturday, June 6th form 8:00am to 11:00am. Cost $10. Everyone is welcome! Sponsored by the member of the centre.

Information Session- Stroke Navigator- Wednesday June 10th at 3:00 pm. Presented by Lisa Lewis. Lisa Lewis is a Stroke Navigator with the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick. Her presentation will provide an overview of stroke, including the different types of stroke, stroke risk factors, and prevention strategies. She will also discuss the Stroke Navigation Program for individuals who have experienced stroke.

Mark Your Calendar- The Centre’s Musical Groups are holding their Fundraising Concert on Sunday, June 21st at 2:00 pm at the Fredericton Intercultural Centre. Please spread the word and join us for some great music and support the Centre at the same time. There will be Cookies!
Community Health:
Our Board of Directors asks you to please use the hand sanitizer available on entering the Centre. Masks are available. If you are able to, please assist with the sanitizing of chairs and equipment used in your program. Together, let’s work to keep you and our Centre community healthy.

Haydays Books- Member and local Author- Evans Estabrooks- Copies available for sale and signing at $15 with proceeds from the sale going to Stepping Stone Senior Centre.
The Wagon Outreach Program- Started and run by Sunday Gee, with the community support, is celebrating it’s one year anniversary June 3rd. This means that every week, no matter the weather conditions, Sunday and her wagon friends provide treats, beverages and necessities to the people who need them. It is a mission of love. The Wagon Outreach Program wishes to heartily thank the members of SSSC for its incredible support. Thank you. We have now a second wagon! SSSC will continue to accept donations for the month of June for this initiative.

High blood pressure is common, often has no symptoms, and is one of the most important modifiable risk factors for heart disease, stroke, kidney disease, and dementia. Join family physician Dr. Doug Oliver to review what blood pressure numbers mean, what has changed in the recent Hypertension Canada guidelines, and how high blood pressure is diagnosed and treated today. If you or someone you know is interested in participating in an interview, you need to be 50 years or older, have experienced homelessness, at some point, and have experienced stigma or discrimination in the past because of you housing status.
