The proceeds from our chili supper were presented to our 3 schools, by our very own Fonda French.
Principal Heather Hallett and students from NMES gratefully accepted their cheque, Principal Chantal’s Cloutier accepted from BCMS and Jennifer Lukings, staff advisor for Kat’s Kitchen and Kats Kitchen volunteers accepted their cheque for FHS.
Helping the community and our schools is an important part of what we do.

Tomorrow is the day we all gather together at the New Maryland Rec Centre to support our Elementary school in their efforts to build a new playground for the children and enjoy a wonderful breakfast prepared by our very own NM Fire Dept and served by students of Kats' Kitchen and The Leos Club.
The cost of the breakfast is by donation and every cent will go towards the new playground.
Time: 8am - 11am
Community spirit is what this wonderful town of New Maryland is all about.❤️

Thank you to everyone who came and donated to our schools in return for a bowl of chili, cornbread and a cookie. You made this year's Chili Drive Thru a huge success. It was the perfect kind of weather for a hot bowl of chili.
Thank you to all the volunteers from our Lions and Leos to Kat's Kitchen, it's a pleasure every year to get to work with such wonderful people.
You put the fun in fundraising.😂

It’s not just a bowl of chili….this event brings together the NM Lions service group to collaborate with over 30 youth volunteers from FHS Kats kitchen, and NM LEOS …yes over 30 extraordinary young people who are passionate about making a difference …they are helping to combat student hunger and inclusivity…these programs play a critical role in making sure all kids get the food they need to focus and excel in the classroom. Let’s do our part to support them…they are our future….and there is the added bonus of a delicious bowl of chili that you don’t have to cook and clean for:)

Along with the delicious chili, you also get a cookie and cornbread. This fundraising event is held in conjunction with the New Maryland Leos Club and Kats' Kitchen from FHS.
