On National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we reflect on Canada’s tragic history with First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples, including the legacy of residential schools. Wearing orange shirts today symbolizes our commitment to learning and engaging in reconciliation. Colonization is an ongoing issue, evident in inequitable access to services and underrepresentation of Indigenous communities. Let’s unlearn, reflect, and take action together.

We invite all to join us for Psi-te Npomawsuwinuwok, a Wabanaki Gathering, on September 30th from 12-5PM at St. Mary's First Nations Old Reserve as we honour our children, survivors, communities and ancestors on the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

Kci-woliwon to the National Association of Friendship Centres, Canada Heritage and Beyond Behaviour Intervention for all of your support!
