Affirmations are positive phrases that can be used to boost self esteem and rewire negative thought patterns.
By reciting these phrases to yourself each day, you can help boost your confidence, reduce stress and promote wellbeing.

We're proud to be sponsoring this week's Imprint Youth Pride Prom by providing a Sensory Room!

Prom should be a place where everyone feels welcome and can celebrate in a way that works for them. Our Sensory Room will offer a quiet, low-stimulation space with trained staff, for anyone who needs a break from the music, lights, or crowds before heading back to the fun.

Best of all, prom is completely free to attend!

Due to the weather forecast, CRMHAA will not be at tonight's Garrison Night Market.

Our Sensory Tent contains books, sensory items, games, and other materials that aren't meant to get wet. We'd rather protect them now so we can continue bringing the Sensory Tent to the Night Market and other community events throughout the rest of the summer.

We're already looking at ways to better protect more of our materials from the weather to help avoid this in the future, but we're not quite there yet.

Thank you for understanding, and we'll see you next Thursday. Hopefully with a little more sunshine!

Did you know that today is Autistic Pride Day?
Autistic Pride Day is to celebrate neurodiversity and to affirm Autistic identity. For years, Autistic people have been stigmatized and have been treated with pity, however, Autistic identities should be celebrated and respected and today showcases that celebration!
Happy Autistic Pride Day!

Today marks the final day of Neurodiversity Pride Week.

Neurodiversity is a reminder that there is no one "right" way to think, learn, communicate, or experience the world. Every brain is different, and those differences make our communities stronger.

Today, and every day, let's celebrate neurodivergent people, challenge stigma, and continue building spaces where everyone belongs.

Every Brain is Beautiful. 🌈

You have likely heard us over the past year promoting our Sensory Tent, but what is the CRMHAA Sensory Tent?

The CRMHAA Sensory Tent is a free, quiet space available at community events for anyone who may be feeling overwhelmed by noise, crowds, heat, lights, or the general hustle and bustle of a busy event.

Community events are meant to be enjoyed by everyone, but for some individuals, the sensory stimulation can become overwhelming and make it difficult to participate. Our Sensory Tent provides a calm place to step away, regroup, and recharge before returning to the event.

Inside the tent, visitors will find:
β€’ Fidget and sensory items
β€’ Grounding and calming activities
β€’ Comfortable seating
β€’ A quieter, lower-stimulation environment

The tent is open to anyone who may benefit from a sensory break, including individuals with autism, ADHD, anxiety, PTSD, sensory processing differences, mental health challenges, or simply anyone needing a few moments of calm.

At CRMHAA, we believe accessibility doesn't stop at ramps and doorways. True accessibility means creating spaces where everyone can participate in community life in a way that feels safe, welcoming, and inclusive. The Sensory Tent is one small way we're helping make community events more accessible for everyone.

Our tent is staffed by team members who have completed Mental Health First Aid, ASIST, and other mental health-related training and can help connect individuals with mental health supports, community resources, and information about services available through CRMHAA. While the Sensory Tent is not a crisis service, staff can help connect individuals to appropriate supports when needed.

This summer, you'll find our Sensory Tent at the Garrison Night Market, FiertΓ© Fredericton Pride, Canada Day Fredericton, and other community events throughout the Fredericton Capital Region!

If you see us out and about, stop by and say hello! We'd be happy to show you around and answer any questions about the tent and the supports we offer. πŸ’™

June is Men's Health Month, a time to raise awareness about the physical and mental health challenges many men face and to encourage conversations that can save lives.

Too often, men are taught to stay silent about stress, anxiety, depression, grief, or emotional pain. Yet reaching out for support is a sign of strength, not weakness.

This month, check in with the men in your life. Ask how they're doing. Listen without judgment. Encourage help-seeking when it's needed. A simple conversation can make a meaningful difference.

Mental health affects everyone, and no one should have to struggle alone.
