On Wednesday, Sept 2nd, Paul Morrison & Don McKay completed the maintenance work that Don & Brent Hawkins started on the Nature Conservancy Canada Lincoln Trail - the circular trail is great but the Beaver Trail was very thick with high grass and vegetation (some of which were quite prickly).
Now the path is clear to and over all 4 bridges and to the river. Definitely worth the hike.

At the Rotary district conference this year Fredericton North Rotary received a Bronze Plus Citation for work being done by our Club
through the Environment Committee
Gaia Project;
Trails Clean-Up
Lincoln Wetlands trail maintenance
and the
removal of Floral rosa from areas of the Fredericton Botanical
Gardens

A great day to cool off on the Bill Thorpe Walking Bridge at B**r on the Bridge. Such a great event organized by Fredericton Rotary Club of Fredericton Sunrise

And a reminder that the bridge will be closed for the event from 5 pm until 10 pm.

Happy Canada Day!

When Chris Darrah, the treasurer of Fredericton North Rotary Club read the June issue of the YMCA of Fredericton newsletter, she knew that her organization could help out with the Gift of Camp Snack Drive. She contacted Elizabeth Kearns, Director of Development and offered a donation on behalf of Fredericton North Rotary Club of $1000 to go towards the snack drive.

The YMCA of Fredericton is so appreciative of this generous donation that will ensure that all campers feel a sense of belonging while they play and make friends at a YMCA of Fredericton Day Camp.

Thank you, Fredericton North Rotary Club! You are doing more than filling a belly. You're helping fuel potential and helping to make summer even brighter for kids in our community.

And a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has stepped up to donate a snack or has made a financial contribution to this worthwhile cause.
