Council of Canadians-Fredericton Chapter was founded in October 2012. This group has been very active with monthly meetings and many organized events. Our main activities at this time are:
- Stop shale gas exploration and keep shale gas development out of NB.
- Promote the vision of a sustainable economy: Green Energy Jobs (we have great lawn signs for sale)
- We are against the West-East Pipeline, and we do not want new fossil fuel resources developed or transported through our province

CALLING ALL PADDLERS! Nashwaak Watershed Association is helping to host Kci-Sukultin | The Great
Paddle
on Saturday June 27 from 8am-1pm traveling from the Marysville Heritage Center grounds on the Nashwaak
to
the Wolastoq. The Great Paddle will help promote stewardship of the Nashwaak and Wolastoq rivers while
educating the community on the proposed Sisson Brook mining project in the Nashwaak watershed near
Stanley. Join us for a community paddle to celebrate our rivers and say NO to the proposed Sisson Mine.
