After visiting Beaconsfield Middle School with our portable planetarium, we received this incredible thank-you note signed by students and staff — and it completely made our week.

We are incredibly proud of Team New Brunswick for their outstanding achievements at the 2026 Canada-Wide Science Fair in Edmonton! 🎉🔬

Sixteen amazing students represented our province on the national stage, showcasing innovative STEM projects, big ideas, and inspiring curiosity. Congratulations to all of Team NB—and especially to this year’s award recipients for their incredible accomplishments!

At Science East, we were honoured to support these young innovators on their journey to the national fair. Seeing their passion, creativity, and dedication firsthand reminds us why investing in youth and science education matters so much.

That patch of grass in your yard might be doing more science than you think! By waiting a little longer to mow, spring flowers like dandelions and clover can bloom—providing important nectar and pollen for bees and other pollinators when food sources are still limited.

Pollinators play a critical role in healthy ecosystems and food production, so even small actions can make a difference. 🌱

🔬 Science East was excited to be part of New Brunswick Mining Week 2026!

From May 12–14, our team joined students, educators, and organizations from across the province at the Hugh John Flemming Forestry Centre in Fredericton for three days of hands-on learning and exploration.

We had the opportunity to connect with more than 1,700 students from schools across New Brunswick through engaging STEM activities, interactive exhibits, and conversations that sparked curiosity and creativity.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to explore, experiment, and learn with us during this exciting week of discovery!
